By accessing or using Evenly ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Evenly is an expense splitting and tracking application that helps users manage shared costs with friends, roommates, and travel companions. The service includes expense tracking, balance calculation, and data synchronization across devices.

You retain ownership of all expense data, descriptions, and content you create in Evenly. By using the App, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
Evenly provides tools to track and split expenses, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of calculations if incorrect data is entered. You are responsible for verifying all expense amounts and splits before settling debts.
Evenly does NOT process payments directly. The App only tracks who owes what and may provide links to third-party payment services (Venmo, PayPal, etc.). You are responsible for completing actual payments outside the App.
Evenly is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will notify you in advance. Any purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVENLY AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Evenly from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Evenly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Evenly regarding the use of the App.
