Your data is stored securely in Firebase/Firestore with industry-standard encryption. We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers. Location data is stored only if you grant permission and can be deleted at any time.

What We Don't Do

• Sell your data to third parties
• Show ads based on your expense data
• Share your financial information with advertisers
• Track you across other apps or websites

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data we have about you
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in CSV, PDF, or JSON format
• Opt out of location tracking at any time
• Disable data syncing and use the app offline-only

Location Services

Evenly can use your location to suggest merchant names when adding expenses. This feature is entirely optional and can be disabled in iOS Settings → Evenly → Location. Location data is only captured when you actively add an expense.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase/Firestore: Data storage and synchronization
• CloudKit: Optional iCloud sync for groups
• Apple Sign-In: Secure authentication

These services have their own privacy policies. We carefully vet all partners to ensure they meet our high privacy standards.

Children's Privacy

Evenly is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Evenly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
